Family Activity Holidays

For families who like some fun and adventure in their holiday, our family activity holidays are just perfect. The family activity holidays include horse riding, mountain biking, tennis lessons, football, volleyball and more! We have set up four different levels of activity for all the family....

Pony Mad Kids You will have no doubt if you are in the company of a PMK! And while a PMK just cannot fathom how anybody could be anything less than enthusuastic about spending all day every day in the company of their favourite pony, non Pony Mad People don't quite share their passion! Fortunately La Fiaba has the perfect solution. At Pony Mad Kids week, PMKs can spend all day horsing around our stable yard. From brushing ponies to competing in our Pony Mad Games, a week at La Fiaba is just what any PMK ordered!

Active Mix For families that like to incorporate other activities as well as horse riding in their itinerary, we have created our family activity week. This week includes approximately 20 hours of activities per person over the week. You can choose between a range of activities including mountain biking, tennis, football, nature walking, volley ball and of course, horse riding! All activities are suitable for all levels of experience, so there is no excuse not to try something new!

Tot's Time Holidaying with tots can be difficult, especially trying to find things to keep them entertained. For tot's and younger children we offer 10 hours of activities including pony rides (or a pony carriage ride for under 5's), football, dance, painting and games. Under 5's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Quiet Time For mums and dads who prefer a bit of quiet time, that is no problem! While the PMKs are kept busy at the yard, or the future Marandona is perfecting their penalties, why don't you go for a quiet stroll to the bar and enjoy a glass of spumante, or relax by our beautiful swimming pool? For those prefering to venture a bit further afield (with or without the kids!) we can organise cookery lessons* with a wonderful Italian chef, wine tasting* at a local vineyard or how about a guided tour* of nearby Siena, Florence or Volterra? *Please note that these activities are not included in the price of your holiday, but we are happy to organise them for you.

Putting It All Together So how do the family activity holidays work? Let's take the Jones family as an example. The Jones' are a family of 5, they have one PMK, mum and son want to do an Activity Mix and dad is taking the little one to Tot's Time. For 7 nights in a 2 bedroom self catering apartment in August 2011 and all the activities mentioned, this would work out at Euro 480 per person.
